I keep myself very busy doing too much career- and hobby-related activities like outdoor recreation, teaching, developing websites, performing manly chores, and taking college classes. Work and play are all the same to me.

I am an Associate Professor in Physical Activity & Health at Eastern Oregon University. My academic emphases in Physical Activity are Sport Management and Pedagogy, but I have experienced teaching quite a variety of classes since I began university teaching when I was 23. During my career, I have been teaching online in one way or another with my classes. I just have a couple classes left to finish my MBA. It is a good thing I don't list certifications after my name because it would read, "PhD, MS, MBA, BA, BS, ASEP, NFHS." BS is most appropriate though.

And I haven't yet mentioned my family of 4 with 2 small kids, a boy and girl. We spent 5 months last winter (or, their summer) in Canberra, ACT, Australia. We traveled all over southeast Australia, hitting beaches, outback, horse races, and generally loving a genuine Aussie experience.

For the last few years, I have been loco about competitive cycling. That culminated in what was the most awesome riding experience imaginable for me, hammering it with the blokes in Oz. Upon returning to the States, I moved on to other ambitions.

Did I mention I love sports and recreation? Cycling is just the most recent focuses in a line of sports that includes baseball, basketball, golf, and a wide variety of other sports and activities. I've also coaches several sports, mostly at the college level.
